At the Black Horse Inn, we take great pride in presenting a culinary journey that blends the sophistication of an a la carte dining experience with the comforting familiarity of pub classics.
This is why are much more than “just a pub” or a “just a place to stay”. Our chefs deliver a menu which is a celebration of diverse flavours and first-class craftsmanship, offering a tempting array of dishes that truly cater to every palate.
We offer food from 12pm every single day, showcasing artistry to the hearty pub classics direct from our pub and restaurant in the North Downs of Kent.
What’s available at The Black Horse Inn?
There’s a reason we were finalists at the Taste of Kent Awards. We have a diverse menu, sourced locally through high quality suppliers.
Our starters include choices such as divine soups, beef short rib and an incredible sea food sharer. Mains include true pub wonders like slow braised pork belly, charred cauliflower or fish pie. On Sunday’s, we have traditional roasts available from 12-5pm, all served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and seasonal vegetables.
But let’s not forget the Black Horse Grill. If you fancy a juicy, fresh burger or 10oz aged ribeye steak, our chefs will put this together for you along with some wonderful side dishes if you so wish.
Outside of this menu, our “classics” menu (available all-day Monday to Thursday, from 12-5pm on a Friday or Saturday, Sundays after 5pm) – includes sandwiches, traditional offerings such as ham, egg and chips, and much more. We also have a children’s menu available.

We had a lovely meal outside seating was lovely with dog friendly seating and staff great and polite. Our first experience of a dog hotel and we will definitely be back.
