Food and Drink Blackhorse Inn Kent

Food

At the heart of the Black Horse Inn in Maidstone, Kent is our beautifully crafted restaurant and pub.  The atmospheric kentish hops and exposed beams create the ambiance you would expect from such an historic site.

Our chefs work closely with high quality local suppliers to source ingredients that create seasonal menu choices that cater for all.

We offer a bespoke a la carte menu throughout the year supported by our famous specials boards which change regularly reflecting the seasonality of produce.

Also available is our light bite and pub classics menu for those craving a traditional gastronomic pub experience. Our bangers and mash are as popular as ever! The Black horse roast dinners are served every Sunday between 12-5pm, booking is essential.

In addition to our restaurant, the top garden terrace is a great spot for an intimate outdoor dining experience – while our extended lower garden area offers larger shaded tables and deck chairs for you to sit back, relax and enjoy.

At this point we must thank our loyal Black Horse team – everyone works tirelessly to provide service with a smile ensuring that you completely unwind and enjoy your time with us.

The Blackhorse Inn Kent Bar

Drink

We wouldn’t be able to enjoy things quite as much without our superbly stocked bar, with a fantastic selection of local beers on offer from local producers such as Moot Brew Co or the creatively named HoppFuzz brewery.

Align this with our refreshing lager options, wheat beer and guest ales that rotate throughout the year – we are sure you will find what you are looking for at our pub in Maidstone, Kent.

Those with a more sophisticated palette may prefer to choose from our extensive wine list or spirits menu.
